Who we are

Novaforge Innovations Limited (“Novaforge”, “we”, “us”) is a technology and professional services firm at 2 Victor Agunzi Street, FCT, Abuja, Nigeria. We decide how and why the personal information described in this policy is used, which makes us its data controller under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).

If you have a question about this policy or about your information, email info@novaforgeng.com or call +234-810-9559-131.

Cookies and storage on your device

This website doesn’t use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. It stores a few settings in your browser so it can remember your choices:

  • Daylight mode and Pause motion are kept in local storage until you clear your browser data.
  • Whether the opening animation has already played is kept in session storage and deleted when you close the tab.
  • What you’ve typed in the inquiry form, if you change the motion setting while filling it in, is kept in session storage only until the page reloads.

These settings stay on your device and are never sent to us.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with organisations that help us run this website and our business, and only as much as they need:

  • EmailJS, which delivers the inquiries you send through the contact form to our inbox. It receives your IP address when you send the form, and may keep a copy of each inquiry in its sending history for up to 30 days.
  • Our email and website hosting providers.
  • Google Fonts, jsDelivr, cdnjs and unpkg, which deliver the fonts and code this website uses. Your browser connects to them directly, so they receive your IP address and browser details.
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, when we need their advice.
  • Regulators, courts or law enforcement, when the law requires it.

If a project involves one of our partner companies, we’ll tell you first and share only what the project needs.

International transfers

Some of these providers, including EmailJS, store or process information outside Nigeria. We only allow this where the NDPA permits it: when the law or a contract keeps your information adequately protected, or when the transfer is needed to answer your inquiry or provide the services you ask for.

How long we keep it

  • Inquiries that don’t lead to work together: up to 6 months after our last contact, then deleted, unless we need them for a legal claim.
  • Client records: for as long as we work together, and afterwards for as long as Nigerian law requires, for example to meet tax and accounting obligations.
  • Technical details: kept only in the logs of our hosting provider and of the font and code services, for the periods their own policies set.

How we protect it

This website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and the contact form sends your inquiry to EmailJS over HTTPS. If the form opens your email app instead, your own email provider sends it to us. Within Novaforge, only the people who need your information to respond to you can see it.

No system is completely secure. If a breach ever puts your rights at risk, we’ll tell you and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission as the law requires.

Your rights

Under the NDPA you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • ask us to delete your information
  • ask us to restrict how we use your information, or object to it
  • receive your information in a portable format
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent
  • not be subject to a decision made only by automated means that significantly affects you

To use any of these rights, email info@novaforgeng.com. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we aim to reply within 30 days.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, email info@novaforgeng.com and we’ll give you our decision within 30 days. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission at info@ndpc.gov.ng, whether or not you contact us first.

Children

This website and our services are for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent us their details, contact us and we’ll delete them.

Other websites

Links to other websites, such as Google Maps for our address, take you to services with their own privacy policies. We’re not responsible for how they handle your information.

Changes to this policy

We’ll update this page when our practices change, and change the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change significantly affects how we use your information, we’ll make that clear on this website.
